Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the current Traverly website works. Traverly is a static travel-information website. It does not provide visitor accounts, an on-site contact form, advertising, analytics, or behavioral tracking.

Information handled by Traverly

The website does not ask you to enter personal information on Traverly pages. Like other websites, the hosting service may process technical request information, such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. The Traverly page code does not use that information to build visitor profiles.

Cookies and browser storage

The current Traverly code does not set cookies and does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, the Cache API, or a service worker. The homepage interest tiles are ordinary links to Traverly category catalogues and do not store visitor selections. No cookie banner is shown because the current site does not activate advertising, analytics, or another feature that sets cookies through Traverly pages.

Sharing and clipboard features

Article pages provide links to Facebook, X or Twitter, Pinterest, and WhatsApp. Those services are contacted only if you follow the relevant sharing link. The “Share or copy link” button first asks your browser or operating system to open its Web Share interface. If that feature is unavailable, the site attempts to copy the article’s canonical URL to your clipboard. Traverly does not receive the destination you choose or the clipboard contents.

Contact by email

Traverly does not provide or process an on-site contact form. On the Contact page, selecting Send Email asks your device to open its configured email application. Traverly receives information only if you choose to send an email. Your chosen email provider processes the message according to its own terms and privacy policy. Traverly does not send an automatic reply.

Selecting Copy Email Address asks your browser to write only Traverly’s displayed email address to your clipboard, and only after you select the action. The site does not read unrelated clipboard contents, and selecting Copy Email Address does not transmit a message or other information to Traverly.

External links and referrer information

Traverly links to travel-information sources, sharing services, and other external websites. A link by itself does not contact that provider. When you follow an external link, the destination receives the request and applies its own privacy practices. Traverly uses a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy, so supporting browsers normally send only the Traverly site origin, rather than the full page path, to another HTTPS site.

Automatically loaded resources

The production pages load their scripts, styles, fonts, icons, and images from Traverly itself. They do not automatically load Google Fonts, advertising networks, analytics services, remote globe textures, or embedded third-party forms. External services are reached only after you choose an external link or sharing action.

Advertising, analytics, and affiliate links

Advertising is not currently active. Traverly does not include a live AdSense publisher ID, ad slot, advertising script, analytics script, tracking pixel, or affiliate-link system. If advertising, analytics, or another tracking feature is introduced later, the privacy policy and any required consent behavior must be reviewed before that feature is activated.

Questions and corrections

To report a privacy concern, an inaccurate disclosure, or a content correction, email the address shown on the Contact page. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the request.
